Research in the CCWAS IGERT lie within four primary areas of focus:

the interface between general circulation models and regional climate models
the climate-hydrology interface
water availability and adapative watershed management
decision-making under uncertainty

CCWAS faculty and students will use computation and informatics to integrate all topics. In addition, exchange with Chilean scholars will allow comparison of Mediterranean climates in northern and southern latitudes.
